Zellige Workshops in Tanger, Morocco

This traditional, glazed tile is meticulously handcrafted using raw, light clay sourced from the Atlas Mountains. The natural clay is mixed with water, shaped by hand, and sun-dried. After an initial firing, each tile, known as Bejmat, is individually glazed in a wide range of colours and hues. The final step involves cutting the glazed Bejmat into Zellige tiles of various shapes and sizes. Our collection of artisanal Zellige tiles adds a touch of elegance to your interior design projects, including kitchen backsplashes, walls, floors, showers, bathrooms, and commercial spaces.
